I'm in the mood to push myself these days, so I'm doing something completely different than I have the last few months.
So, I lived in Okinawa for a number of years, and in their Japanese/Chinese/Pacific fusion religion, they believe that at Obon, in August, their dead ancestors visit. During this time, nobody swims in the ocean because all the lonely spirits there will pull you under to spend time with them. So, that's what this is.

I really enjoyed this whole little series. Having spent the last few weeks trying to write some creepy-shorts, I'm glad I didn't come across this sooner. I would have quit from frustration.
