Coming to the end of my journey here
This week, I got my second Daily Deviation (thanks http://jonathanwyke.deviantart.com). After fostering Alt Comix for a few years, I pulled away a year or two ago, leaving it to http://oly-rrr.deviantart.com for the most part. I got some new watchers, and a lot of people saying "congrats!" This isn't the interaction I want. I write stuff with content, and want people to actually read it. For the most part, that is not what happens. To be honest, I wonder how many of the favs I got actually read and related to my neurotic headspace.

Next level stuff...
I've been doing these comics for a few years now, and things seem to have gotten to a new high point, hopefully to get to a higher one in the future. So, last month, Biguglyrobot Press in Nagoya published my Alone in Kyoto book. It's available at:
The Beguiling Books & Art in Toronto, Ontario (in time for TCAF! though it won't be showing there)
Austin Books & Comics in Austin, Texas
Forbidden Planet NYC in New York, New York
and
Chicago Comics in Chicago, Illinois
As well, it is being distributed by the awesome Birdcage Bottom Books, able to send all over the place, and still through Biguglyrobot Publishing in Japan.

My poor thumb
I sliced a chunk of my right hand thumb off this morning while cutting cheese for a big sandwich. It has utterly changed the direction of my first full day off of the winter holiday. Three hours, a painful alcohol purification and a lot of gauze later, and it's still bleeding.
I was hoping to get a bunch of art done in my time off, but now I have an excuse for lounging. Still, I can't even play PS3 now. It'll be a long Christmas week. I have four pages written, plus one more if you count me documenting this stupidity. My wife even said an hour earlier, don't cut yourself, and I laughed, saying 'of course!'
