Description

I started writing this right as the earthquakes started happening, and it felt like a nice thing to do, to show people what the world of comics is like in Japan. They are everywhere. It's great. Great country, and the comic culture is simply one more reason.

This is a three page strip, stitched together. Loads of bookshelves in this. I don't want to draw bookshelves again.

This just makes me want to go to Japan that much more. Nicely done. My personal "comic heaven" was going to Winnipeg as a kid to buy comics at Doug Sulipa's Comic World. My first, and only, time out of the U.S. I would have moved into the basement at that warehouse-sized comic shop if my parent's had let me. It also introduced me to some cool Canadian creators and comics, like Captain Canuck.
